Tarifa

Most people have seen the movie A Walk to Remember where Mandy Moore’s character has a wish to have her feet in two states at once.

Well I want to take it one step further. (insert bad pun)

Tarifa, Spain is known for its perfect wind and kite surfing environment. This would be a great place for adrenaline junkies like myself. Whale and dolphin watching is also popular here, for all those not too keen on dangerous activities.

 

Tangler, Morocco is only a short ferry ride away, which tourists can experience all year long. This is Morocco’s fifth largest city so that might have to wait to be discussed by itself. 

So back to the movie reference. 

Tarifa is the southern most part of Spain, and if you ever get the chance to visit. you must take a walk along the beach. or the sea. Tarifa is the point at which the Atlantic Ocean, and the Mediterranean Sea converge. So basically, I want to “one up” Nicholas Sparks and experience two bodies of ocean at once. 

Bull fights, seafood, and relaxation are all things that can be found in Tarifa, Spain. I just hope I can get to it before it turns into a drunken party like Ocean City Maryland.
